Crypto Wallets Overview
OneLiquidity Wallet Addresses
OneLiquidity offers technology to instantly issue secure crypto wallet addresses for business transactions to your users. We have leveraged highly scalable vault services that allow for quick deposit and withdrawals of selected crypto assets.
Definitions
The following conventions are used in the crypto wallets service.
Main Wallet
- You must create a main wallet in a given currency before issuing wallets in the given currency to your users.
- You can only create one main wallet for every currency.
- We manage records of transactions and balances for the main wallet.
Sub Wallet
- Sub wallets are tied to a main wallet in a given currency and can be issued to your users.
- You can create multiple sub wallets for every currency.
- We only maintain records of transactions and balances for sub wallets as part of their main wallet. Consequently, you must maintain the general ledger for each sub wallet you issue.
Transaction
A deposit or withdrawal activity associated with a wallet address.
Wallet Address
A unique identifier that serves as a virtual location where the cryptocurrency can be sent.
Transaction Hash/Reference
A transaction hash/reference/id is a unique string of characters that is given to every transaction that is verified and used to identify the transaction on a blockchain.
